why is it
that you seem to see right through me
like a pool of water?
bending the light but remaining clear
like the thoughts I gather,
a list of pros and cons
of catching your attention
in the nets of my captivity
when your eyes pass through my form
I feel them pierce like bullets
Should have just kept walking.
